Dear Parents & Guardians,
As we pause to celebrate Thanksgiving year, I ask that you keep those less fortunate in your thoughts and prayers. Our community here in Shrewsbury enjoys a quality of life that many never experience and we should be mindful of how very fortunate we all are to be surrounded by family, neighbors, and friends who truly care. This year we will once again be donating turkey dinners to over twenty-five families in need, as well as donating items to Lunch Break in Red Bank for use in their food pantry and during their hot meal service. I know that our children benefit most from opportunities like this as they learn the important lessons of empathy, sympathy, and compassion during the holiday seasons. It is my hope that all of our students learn these important lessons and make our community and our world a better place for us all.
I want to thank everyone involved with our efforts to make this holiday special for those in our local area, and
Please accept my best wishes for safe travels, continued good health, and a bountiful Thanksgiving.
